He said: "I don’t think there will be a reunion. In fact I know the executive producers have shot that idea down.
"They wrapped up the series really well so I don’t think there’s a need for it.
"I mean, would you really want to watch a TV series about a group of people in their forties still struggling like that?
"That would be a tragedy not a comedy!"

However, the 53-year-old did express his excitement for the upcoming Friendsfest - a celebration of the show's 21st birthday.
