Someone has apparently just been '100 pc confirmed' to join Dec on I'm A Celeb
Holly Willoughby will host I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here alongside Dec Donnelly, according to a new report.
A source close to the presenter has told The Mirror that she's been locked in to fill in for Ant McPartlin on this year's series.
"Holly is 100 per cent confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant's stand-in," the source said.
"It's been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in.
"They've taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments."
Holly herself has refused to confirm the story. A rep for the star said the report was “just speculation”.
The source revealed that it was Dec who had pushed for Holly, who presents ITV's This Morning, to get the gig.
"Dec first brought up Holly last year, after Ant went into rehab the first time.
"Obviously Ant then decided he could manage I'm A Celeb but, if you remember, they put that joke in the very first show about Holly being Ant's replacement.
"It was clear last year whoever ITV brought in would have to be different from Ant.
"Little did they know at the time Holly would actually end up fronting the show herself."
Holly's name has been linked to the job ever since it was announced last month that Ant wouldn't be returning to the show this year.
It was confirmed yesterday that Dec would have a co-host on I'm A Celeb when it returns.
"We'll fid someone to go with Dec," ITV chief Kevin Lygo said at the The Edinburgh International Television Festival.
