Strictly Come Dancing

Some BIG names are rumoured to be in talks for this year’s show.

In recent years, Strictly Come Dancing has been a welcomed replacement for other reality shows we’ve grown tired of.

Yes, each week we tune in to watch some of our favourite celebrities tackle ballroom dance and while on paper it shouldn’t be thrilling, it really is.

And even though last season seems to have only just finished, rumours about 2018’s show are already beginning to swirl.

Yes, fans are already eager to hear who will be taking part in this year’s show and there are quite a few names in the mix as it stands.

Michelle Keegan

The former Corrie star is reportedly one of the Strictly producers top picks for this year’s show and we can see why.

Yes, apparently they are willing to do anything to get the Our Girl actress on the dance floor and we think she’d be a great addition.

Holly Willoughby

Our main bae is already one of TV’s most popular stars and it seems that Strictly is keen to hone in on that popularity.

Holly previously revealed that if she were ever to appear on a reality show as a contestant it would be Strictly, but with such a hectic schedule, would she be able to take part?

Cheryl

Yes, the former X Factor judge is high up there on the list of top picks also with Strictly judge Shirley Ballas saying she’d be her number one choice.

However, with reports that Cheryl is to return to the X Factor panel this year, we don’t know how likely an appearance on Strictly would be.

Gemma Collins

Love her or hate, actually no, we just LOVE her. The GC is always a hit with viewers no matter what show she appears on so we can only imagine the craic she’d be on Strictly.

We all remember her short but sweet stint on I’m A Celeb, here’s hoping she’ll turn her hand to ballroom later this year.

Others rumoured to be appearing on this year’s show are GBBO winner Nadiya Hussein who is reportedly a huge fan of the BBC show.

The Chase star Mark Labbett, otherwise known as ‘The Beast’, is top of Strictly producers list to be the ‘funny guy’ on this year’s show.

As for when the show will be back on our screens, well, it’s presumed it won’t break tradition with its usual September launch date.

Yes, it’s believed the show will be back mid-September and we cannot wait.
