Kevin Clifton has finally opened up about those Louise Redknapp romance rumours.
The dancer was paired with Louise in 2016, and subsequently her marriage to Jamie Redknapp fell apart.
Kevin’s relationship with his wife Karen also broke down.
So as you can imagine, the rumour mill started spinning.
Fans thought the dancing pair had fallen victim to the infamous Strictly curse, but Kevin is adamant he’d never get involved with a dance partner.
He was recently asked if he’d ever been romantically involved with any partners.
“No, never,” he said.
“You’re there to do a job and get on with the dancing. That’s what it’s about.”
Louise Redknapp ended a 20-year relationship to ex-footballer Jamie ended in late 2017, while Kevin split from Karen last year.
There were rumours that Kevin’s close friendship to Louise had angered Karen, but that is not the case it seems.
