Taylor John Smith and Harris Dickinson join Where The Crawdads Sing cast

Two more actors added to the list for what’s looking set to be a brilliant movie!

It’s the New York Times Bestseller that everyone has been obsessed with since its release in 2018 and now it’s going to be made in to a movie which we have no doubt will be equally as loved as the novel.

Where The Crawdads Sing the film will be based on Delia Owens’ best-selling novel which sold nearly 8.5 million copies worldwide.

Every young actor was trying to be part of this adaptation which will see Smith and Dickinson’s stars rise.

Taylor John Smith and Harris Dickinson have been added to the cast. The two lads are set to join Daisy Edgar-Jones in the upcoming film which is being made by 3000 Pictures and Hello Sunshine.

You may recognise Taylor John Smith starred in Shadow in the Clouds alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and more recently starred in The Outpost. He’s also made appearances in HBO’s Sharp Objects starring Amy Adams. and Wolves opposite Michael Shannon and Carla Gugino.

Dickinson’s next big on screen role is The King’s Man which stars Ralph Fiennes.

Actress, Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter are producing for Hello Sunshine. Hello Sunshine was responsible for the success of Gone Girl and Wild which Reese starred in as well as produced.

Owen’s debut novel has spent an incredible 124 weeks on The New York Times Bestseller List, the book has also topped The New York Times Fiction Bestsellers of 2019 and 2020 for over 50 weeks. We have no doubt people will be just as obsessed with the film.

The story follows a young women, Kya, who is fending for herself in a small town after her family abandoned her. After her boyfriend is found dead she somehow finds herself as the main suspect in the killing and the story unfolds.
