Taylor Swift suffered a VERY awkward stage malfunction at one of her concerts

Olivia Hayes

Oh, poor thing.

It’s always a horrible experience if you do something silly in front of people. Whether you fall, walk into something or get stuck, you (mostly) just have to grin and bare it.

However, when you’re in front of thousands of people, it’s a little harder to just get on with your day and pretend nobody saw.

Taylor Swift was performing in Philadelphia on Saturday night and suffered a very awkward stage malfunction.

While the singer was trying to sing Delicate, she was supposed to move from one stage to the other via a harness.

But the harness got stuck, and she just had to stay in mid-air for a while.

According to E! News, she told the crowd: “I’m pretty sure I’m stuck up here. It’s a nice view though.”

She continued: “What you just saw was me going straight up and down in this sparkly basket,” Taylor continued. “It’s supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium.

“I have another flying thing across there that works apparently. Or wait! So there are people talking in my ear. This is so boring for you, I’m sorry.”

But while most people would freak out or just sit there for a bit, Taylor sang two songs to the crowd while people behind the scenes tried to fix the problem.

Yep, Tay performed Our Song and Wildest Dreams without any backup music at all.

Say what you want about Taylor Swift, but she sure knows how to handle an awkward situation.
