Taylor Swift walked her first red carpet in two years and she looked so different

Welcome back, Tay!

Love her or loathe her, we’re glad to see Taylor Swift make a return to the red carpet.

Yes, last night Swifty hit the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, her first in just over two years.

And in those two years, Tay has changed up her look yet again.

The 28-year-old singer rocked up to the event in a long blush-coloured Versace gown with feathered embellishment, a statement sleeve and a serious thigh-high split.

With her makeup and hair looking very natural indeed, Taylor’s BBMA style was a total departure from the way we saw her during her last walk of the red carpet.

While it may not be totally different from the OG Taylor, two years ago we saw the singer walk down the red runway in front of the world’s media at the BMI Pop Awards and she was sporting quite a different look.

Yes, the singer is looking a lot more like the one we got to know ten years ago when she released that banger, Love Story.

With everything much more paired back and a dress that seemed more in touch with her personal style, we’re glad to see Taylor is back on the red carpet and winning it in the style stakes like she should.

And Taylor didn’t leave the event empty-handed either. No, the singer took home two of the biggest awards on the night – Top Female Artist and Top Selling Album.

“I want to thank all the artists, the female artists who paved the way for us to do what we do, the way we get to do it,” Taylor said during her acceptance speech.

“The new female artists killing it out there now, we are so inspired by you. Shoutout to the future female artists who just picked up a guitar or learned how to play the piano.”
