Earlier today we found out that Fatboy is leaving EastEnders and now it has been revealed that Coronation Street is also going to be saying goodbye to one of its residents this year.
According to Radio Times, Terence Maynard is leaving the popular soap in order to pursue other projects.
He joined the cast as Jason Grimshaw’s estranged father Tony Stewart last year but will wave goodbye to the cobbles in December.

Details concerning his exit storyline are being kept under wraps for now however he is said to have filmed his final scenes.
The news comes only a matter of days after Ryan Thomas, who plays his onscreen son, announced that he was leaving the show.
