The BBC has denied rumours that they are axing The Voice, which launched in 2012.
A spokesperson reportedly said: “It is incorrect to say the BBC has axed The Voice and we are in negotiations about its future.”
Speculation was rife that the show was going to come to an end on the BBC due to governmental cutbacks and a bid from rival broadcaster ITV.

However it seems this is not the case.
As well as the denial, The Mirror claims that the BBC has in fact signed a deal to secure the programme for another three years.
The news comes only a matter of months after the new judging line-up was revealed – will.i.am, Ricky Wilson, Boy George and Paloma Faith.
