“People vanish, the truth doesn’t.”

The dramatic trailer for Jessica Biel’s new drama, Limetown, is here – and we’ve got goosebumps.

The fictional series, based on the podcast of the same name, follows American Public Radio journalist Lia Haddock [Biel] as she tries to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility in Tennessee.

Stanley Tucci also stars in the series as Emile Haddock, Lia’s uncle who is among the missing people.

The series also stars Marlee Matlin (Quantico, The Magicians), Kelly Jenrette (The Handmaid’s Tale, Grandfathered), John Beasley (Shots Fired, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks), and Sherri Saum (The Fosters, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).

Omar Elba (A Hologram For the King), Louis Ferriera (The Man in the High Castle, S.W.A.T.) and Janet Kidder (Arrow, The Man in the High Castle) also star.

The first two episodes of Limetown will debut on Wednesday, October 16 at 3pm EST/8pm IST on Facebook Watch. From there, new episodes will be released on a weekly basis.

You can check out the trailer below.

It was announced in October 2018 that Facebook had given a series order to the adaptation of Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie’s podcast of the same name.

At the same time, it was confirmed that Biel would be starring in the 10-episode series.
