The first trailer for Dolly Parton’s new Netflix series Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings is finally here – and gives fans a glimpse at every episode in the anthology.
The footage shows the iconic country music star taking about some of her most beloved hits, Two Doors Down, f I Had Wings, J.J. Sneed, These Old Bones, Down From Dover, Sugar Hill, Cracker Jack and Jolene.
“Songs — they’re just stories put to music,” she says. “Songs that I’ve written, they’re stories of my life — every triumph, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow. It’s the melody of my memories. It’s the sound of my heartstrings.”
Every one of the eight episodes in Heartstrings is based on one of Parton’s songs, and will range from love stories to family dramas; westerns to revenge comedies.
Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings lands on Netflix on November 22. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below.
