The surprising reason why Emily Atack is already tipped to win I’m A Celeb

Keeley Ryan

She absolutely crushed the first Bushtucker Trial of the season.

Which, apparently, is why Inbetweeners’ Emily Atack is already being tipped to be crowned the Queen of the Jungle.

The 28-year-old battled the Viper Pit on Monday night, where she had to collect ten stars from snake-filled chambers – and, ultimately, managed to get nine out of ten.

And while the challenge left hosts Holly and Dec wincing at times (and Holly hiding behind her cue cards when one of the snakes lunged at Emily), it turns out that the trial may have actually been pretty good news for Emily.

Beyond, you know, winning all those meals.

During I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp, host Joel Dommet revealed a surprising static that may confirm Emily’s fate in the jungle.

He said:

“Here’s an interesting fact for you – the person who has been in the first trial for the last two years, has won the whole show.”

As Andi Peters, the guest for the episode, went on to share his own fact, co-host (and former Queen of the Jungle) Scarlett Moffatt said: “That was me! Oh I was just counting the years there.”

Scarlett was one of the celebrities who took part in the Tomb of Torment, the first Bushtucker Trial of the 2016 series, Meanwhile, Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Amir Khan took part in Critter-cal Rescue, the first challenge last year.
