The former Coronation Street star is set to appear in the second series of the BBC show.
Back in September 2014, BBC debuted a drama starring Lacey Turner which received great critical acclaim.
Set in Afghanistan, the drama centred around Molly Dawes, a medic helping the British soldiers while fighting abroad.
In June 2015, it was announced there would be a second series, with Michelle Keegan taking up the lead role of Corporal Georgie Lane.
The trailer for the hotly anticipated second series has arrived, and it does not disappoint. People will recognise former Skins star Luke Pasqualino making an appearance in the trailer as a fellow soldier.
Considering this is the first major acting job for Michelle since her days as barmaid Tina on the cobbles of Coronation Street, many fans are excited to see what this season of Our Girl will hold.
People took to Twitter to express excitement for the upcoming series.
