The X Factor is back on the hunt for new talent as Dermot O’Leary returns as host and room auditions make a comeback.

The show will be visiting 40 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland trying to find the next big thing, and if you fancy trying your hand at it, April 24th at the RDS Simmonscourt from 9a.m. is your place to be.

Groups or solo singers can register online or simply just show up to audition for the massive singing competition.

Simon Cowell seems buzzing to get back at it; “We’re excited to start auditions again this year for The X Factor. If you think you have got what it takes then why don’t you apply? And remember, one audition could change your life”.

There are also other ways to apply.

For anyone not able to make the dates in Dublin, there are other easy ways to apply:

Registering online for one of the other Open Audition cities or by just turning up at one of the Open Audition cities on the day.

-Heading to the Mobile Audition Tour which will be visiting smaller towns and cities across the country.

There is no need to register for the Mobile Audition dates – full details see itv.com/xfactor

For anyone who isn’t able to make it to any of the cities you can also send in your own video audition via the website at this link.
