Neil Patrick Harris isn't the only one of the gang featuring in the new Netflix show.
Anyone who loved the books or Jim Carey film has probably been waiting for the release of the Netflix version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events since it was announced.
It was announced early on that the talented Neil Patrick Harris would play Count Olaf but they kept some other casting choices a secret.
NPH is best known for his role as womanising Barney in How I Met Your Mother and it turns out he's joining forces with Robin once again.
Cobie Smulders who played Barney's (and Ted's) long-time love interest also features on the Netflix show as the mother of the Baudelaire children.
MINOR SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT ON:
Unlike the original books, Beatrice Baudelaire and her husband Bertrand (played by Will Arnett in the series) appear to be alive and well but are being held captive.
The mother appears in all 8 episodes of the show so we'll be seeing plenty of both Barney and Robin during the series.

In How I Met Your Mother, Barney and Robin have a very love/hate relationship with each other, being on and off throughout much of the show, but something tells us there'll be no love between Count Olaf and Beatrice.
If you haven't watched it yet, here's what to expect.
