This ‘Harry Potter’ star is barely recognisable these days

Just LOOK at him!

Fans of the Harry Potter saga will know that the last film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was by far the most upsetting.

The 2011 film warranted tears and heartbreak everywhere as Snape’s grand plan throughout the films was revealed.

The professor confessed his love for Lily Potter was what made him keep Harry safe from danger throughout his formative years, playing out perhaps the greatest tale of love ever.

In flashbacks, Harry was able to understand Snape’s pretence of hating him to keep him safe and one character we got to meet was young Severus.

Young Snape was played by 15-year-old actor Benedict Clarke who played out the reveal that he was a childhood friend Lily Potter – and was bereft when Lily was sorted into Gryffindor, where she met and fell in love with Harry’s dad James.

5 years on however, Benedict has grown into somewhat of a very handsome man.

Leaving the long brown shaggy hair and pale complexion behind, the Harry Potter actor is a lot more photogenic than his teenage self.

America, it’s been real. Xoxo

The 20-year-old British actor is now a fan of photography and Jack Kerouac, posting regular updates on his Instagram.

You’d hardly remember he was a Harry Potter actor at all!

Yo @barackobama I’m in town, you up for Netflix and chill later?
