Well, it sure has come a long way!
So there are LOADS of you currently looking for a tent dying and a rain coat right now.
Electric Picnic is on the horizon, and it's set to be a MAJOR year.
Billie Eilish is headlining, alongside some pretty amazing artists.
And yes, I'm a little jealous I'm missing out.
However, I just stumbled across something that will give you serious amounts of entertainment.
The wonderful people at RTE have shared footage from their archive, of the first ever Electric Picnic set up.
14 years ago EP has its debut, and needless to say... it was smaller than it is now.
The footage shows footage of Electric Picnic promoter John Reynolds, Avril Stanley of Release Event Management and Thomas Cosby owner of Stradbally Hall Estate.
The first Electric Picnic attracted 15,000 people... over 55,000 people are expected to attend this year FYI.
From humble beginnings to one of the best festivals in the world, not too shabby!
