Britney took to Instagram yesterday to announce the exciting news that she is expecting her third child. She joked in the caption that she and Sam first thought she was "food pregnant" before taking a test, confirming that she will be having her third child. Also taking to Instagram Sam said; "Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take it lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do."We are over the moon for the happy couple, so let's see where the romance all started.

The pair first met in 2016 on the set of Britney's Slumber Party music video, where Sam played the role of her love interest. In an interview with Men's Health, Sam explained how nervous he was to meet such a big star and that he "had butterflies" from the get-go. However, the two quickly hit it off over a mutual love of sushi and arranged a date. Britney said after finding his number in her bag, she decided to call him. "I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute," she said on a radio show in 2017.

Since then their relationship, and adorable Instagram posts, have gone from strength to strength. For their 1st anniversary in 2018, Britney shared a cute couple hiking pic with an equally cute caption. "Every day he inspires me to be a better person and that makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world!!" she said.

Sam supports Britney through her legal battles (2021)
Sam, who is a successful actor in his own right, has also supported Britney through some seriously tough times in recent years. He stuck by her during her recent legal battle to have her conservatorship, imposed by her father, successfully removed. Sam also told People Magazine about supporting Britney when HULU attempted to release a documentary about the legal battle without her consent."I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her in following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves," he said.

Britney and Sam announced their engagement after Britney was successfully freed from her conservatorship.
The star has also sparked wedding rumours with her baby announcement post, as she referred to Sam as her 'husband', however any details surrounding the couple's potential marriage have yet to be revealed. Sharing news of her engagement six months ago on Instagram, Britney wrote, "I can't fucking believe it !!!!!"
