Nah, JK JK, none of that actually happened (though it wouldn’t necessarily by the most unrealistic thing to ever come out of reality TV, in fairness).
No, instead Alex did what we all assumed Alex would do and he choose Ellie to couple up with despite the fact that she clearly doesn’t like him but wants her place in the villa to be safe so whatever.
Adam chose Zara, Jack chose Dani, Josh chose Georgia, Wes chose Laura, and Eyal chose Megan (they did ride after all).
Then Sam did what Sam had to do… and we were legit so relieved.

He decided he wanted to couple up with Samira, thus easing the stress, fear, and genuine anger we had been feeling due to the fact that that poor girl had been struggling in the villa for about 2.5 weeks without anyone there to tell her she was looking well.
All she had was Alex to tell he looked pink.
