Try to get through these 90s celebrity looks without cringing

Unmistakably, there’s plenty to adore about the 90s.

The music makes us tingle, the films bring back the fondest of memories and don’t you think we all laughed more in the 90s?

Well it seems the 90s are giving us a giggle right now too! Have a look at these ferocious and comical fashion misshaps. There’s no doubt about it, the 90s were for experimenting!

David and Victoria Beckham

Can we all just take a moment to look at David’s hair.

Thank you.

Here was the happy couple at the Versace store opening on London’s New Bond Street. Just what would Versace think of this matching ensemble?! Will they ever live this down? Who knows? The 90s were definitely more forgiving when it came to mixing and matching outfits however vomit-worthy it may have been. Even more cringe-worthy was this.

We adored them then and indeed we still do now. They broke every fashion rule in the book only to have us loving them even more for it while also bringing about some major moments of wincing. Just look at those shoes and hideous blue eye-shadow!

Both look somewhat similar to Naomi’s humongous royal blue boots below.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Evidently, Gwyneth had an obsession with anything shiny, sheer, velvet or with skinny straps.

Kate Winslet

Was Kate wearing a lace nightdress to the Titanic premiere? We love Kate, but her hair, makeup and outfit were NOT up to scratch. Having said that, with the awards coming her way and having her hands in Leo’s, did she care? Absolutely not.

Boyzone on the Late Late Show

Sweet mother of god. What was going on here?

Just look at them… babies they were! It’s probably not too fair of us to be picking on 5ive for their insanely handsome 90s appearance, BUT guess who will be standing up on this year’s Throwback Stage at Electric Picnic!

Yes, all you festival goers are in for an epic throwback shindig along with 90s pop sensations 5ive,  S Club Party and Jenny Berggren of Swedish pop act Ace of Base! Hurray! You won’t want to miss being brought back in time to the good ol’ days, banging out those joyous tunes and having an all-round terrific weekend!
