If an agreement is reached between the two sides, he would be signing on for series’ three and four of the Netflix drama.
It comes as Matt Smith opened up about his disappointment about having his role recast, admitting he was was worried he wouldn’t “land as great a part again.”
He told Heat magazine:
“I’d be lying if I said I’m not disappointed. I’m scared I’ll never land as great a part again. But there’s an excitement to being able to pass the baton on.”
