TV3 Announce Big Change To Weekend Schedule

TV3 announced plans for a new autumn schedule today and it looks like we're going to see some changes. The station is extending the current Ireland AM format to run for a seven day schedule. Weekend AM will be presented by TV3 stalwart Anna Daly, who will be accompanied by actor Simon Delaney for Saturday AM and Newstalk's Ivan Yates for Sunday AM. Anna has worked with TV3 for six years and said she is looking forward to the new challenge.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, she said: "“I leave Ireland AM on July 2 and we go live on the 29. I’ll be doing a four day week, Thursday to Sunday so it gives me a better work and home life, whatever that means". There are a number of projects planned for TV3 this autumn including The Great Irish Menu, House Rules and a documentary profiling Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams.
