Aidan Gillen and Charlie Murphy have joined fellow Irish actor Cillian Murphy on the hit TV show Peaky Blinders. They’ve been cast in unknown roles for the upcoming fourth season of the BBC Two crime drama.
The news comes just days after Hollywood actor Adrian Brody was confirmed as signing on for the fourth series.
Speaking to Deadline creator and writer Steven Knight said,
“Adrien Brody, Aidan Gillen and Charlie Murphy give us a wealth of talent to work with. And with Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley returning, we couldn’t have hoped for more.”
Filming for the fourth season has already begun in Liverpool and it was revealed that it will begin with Tommy receiving a mysterious letter on Christmas Eve that threatens the Peaky Blinders.
