Tyra Banks is opening a theme park for models and it sounds erm, confusing

Well, this is a first.

Tyra Banks is known for doing things big. From TV shows to film, fashion to beauty, it’s no surprise that her next venture seems of even larger scale.

Inspired by Disneyland and Universal Studios, the 45-year-old model has revealed that she’s been creating her own fun world, “Modelland”, based on the same name as her 2010 book. Yes, Modelland according to the TV personality is going to be a space where the “spirit of adventure and storytelling meets the world of modelling”.

According to the star who has bought a large space in Santa Monica, the “amusement park” will feature retail shops and restaurants as well as working as a place for “modelling the masses”.

Yes, according to Tyra, Modelland is a space for everyone of all shapes and sizes, focusing on true beauty and body positivity.

So, erm, will this place have theme park attractions or fashion shows?

Well, we don’t actually know what Modelland will entail besides a few vague quotes from Tyra that leave us more confused than informed.

“Modelland is going to be a place where the modeling world meets fantasy, meets entertainment, meets technology, meets retail, meets dining, meets… your fiercest best self you could ever imagine,” Tyra told Variety.
