CervicalCheck campaigner Vicky Phelan will be joining Ryan Tubridy on tonight’s instalment of the Late Late Show.

Phelan, who is currently in Maryland, US, receiving a new experimental treatment for cancer, will join this evening’s show via video link to discuss her progress. Vicky travelled to the US earlier this month to commence the new treatment, which she is now eligible for.

She has since been sharing updates on social media, stating that she is doing well and glad she “took the gamble.”

Also joining Ryan tonight will be TikTok famous sea shanty singer Nathan Evans, who will be discussing his recent rise to fame, his new record deal, and where he goes from here.

RTÉ’s Northern Editor Tommie Gorman will also be appearing in studio to chat about the current border issue amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as taking viewers back through his 40 years of reporting with the national broadcaster.

Axa’s Community Heroes who have been helping others over the past year will too be on tonight’s show, as will Dublin footballer Shane Carthy, who will be in studio to discuss mental health.

Music will come from Galway’s Niamh Regan, one of the RTÉ Choice Music Prize nominees.
