Mort-i-fied.
When it comes to dodgy chat up lines, this one takes the biscuit.
During last night’s installation of First Dates Ireland, forever providing the nation with an hour of unbeatable entertainment, one conversation between the daters had to be heard to be believed.
Two daters were clearly keen on their dinner progressing last night as they discussed their main course.
Basically, Chancelle and Martin were discussing Chancelle ordering salmon. Not to Martin’s liking, Chancelle flirtingly said “but you haven’t tried my fish” with Martin replying “I look forward to trying your fish”.
“You haven’t tasted my fish.”
“I look forward to tasting your fish.”

Aside from that, viewers were rooting for Killian who returned to the restaurant in hopes of finding love, chatting up his date by saying his phone is “broken” because it doesn’t have her number, it’s safe to say the night was full of golden moments and cringey chat. Just the way we like it.
