Coronation Street have shared the first trailer for the jam-packed Christmas episodes.
The festive season is set to end in tragedy for one of the Weatherfield residents this year, as Derek Milligan goes on a rampage through Winter Wonderland.
The footage shows a number of scenes from the siege, including armed police storming the street and Derek open firing a number of times – with plenty of fan favourite characters appearing to be in the area.
Another storyline revealed in the footage show Rita Tanner is in danger after suffering a fall at home as she decorates her tree. But having told everyone else she would be away for the holidays, will anyone be able to help her in time?
And the video shows Gary Windass revealed as the new owner of Underworld – as Jade Rowan’s manipulation of Hope continues, with the former nanny leading the young girl to think the worst of her mum Fiz Stape.
Coronation Street shared the footage on social media on Wednesday evening.
“As you have all been so good this year, here’s an early Christmas present,” they captioned the trailer, which they said shows what will be happening on Corrie over the festive season.
