The latest trailer for season three of The Sinner has arrived - and promises the "most shocking story" yet.
The new footage also confirmed that the show would be debuting in North America on February 6, 2020.
The third season will follow Detective Harry Ambrose as he begins a seemingly routine investigation into a tragic car accident in upstate New York.
He eventually ends up uncovering a hidden crime which will pull him into the most dangerous and the most disturbing case of his career.
Matt Bomer plays Jamie Burns, who is described as an upstanding local resident and dad-to-be who looks to Ambrose in the wake of the accident.
He also has a a past with the mysterious Nick Haas, an old college friend who seems to have a dark hold on Jamie - especially when he makes a surprise appearance in town.
The Mindy Project's Chris Messina will play Nick Haas, while Parisa Fitz-Henley will play Jamie's wife, Leela Burns.
Jessica Hecht will play Sonya, a painter who gets involved in the investigation when the accident happens on her property; and Eddie Martinez will play Vic Soto, an ex-Marine-turned-detective who works alongside Ambose to try and solve the case.
There has been no Irish premiere date for season three of The Sinner just yet, however we're keeping our fingers crossed it won't be too far behind.
