We weren't expecting this.
With Selena Gomez moving on from her relationship with The Weeknd, real name Abel, very quickly, it was only a matter of time before he did too. He's been linked with a few women since their breakup - his ex Bella Hadid being one of them and one of Justin Bieber's exes being another.
But, this latest person he has been linked to caught us by surprise. He has apparently been on a date with Katy Perry.
According to
The Sun, the pair were seen enjoying dinner together in West Hollywood last night. What's more, they purposefully didn't arrive together to avoid any attention.
Katy arrived at the Italian restaurant first, and then 15 minutes later Abel arrived. Other people in the restaurant have said that they enjoyed dinner together for 3 hours before leaving separately.
Interestingly, Selena once dated Katy's ex Orlando Bloom.
Nothing has been confirmed from either party, so chances are they could have been meeting up as friends or to discuss a potential collaboration.
We'll just have to wait and see.
