We’ve two hours of Love Island action to look forward to every night next week

Thank you baby Jesus.

We've two hours of Love Island action to look forward to all next week

There is a God.

Love Island is ending in a week and a half and it really doesn’t bear thinking about.

Like, what did we all do at 9pm every night before the start of June? Do you remember? We don’t.

No more nightly helping of Jani, no more fights over who kissed who and when, no more night vision shots of pretty people smooching in bed, no more sarcastic voiceovers – it’s going to be tough.

Thankfully, the lovely people at 3e have planned ahead and are softening the blow by introducing Love Island Australia while the British Love Island is still on.

The Aussie series starts on Monday night at 10.05pm, which means two hours of back-to-back Love Island action every night next week

The show is also set in a luxury villa on the Spanish island of Majorca looks even more saucy than the UK version – fights, riding, tears and everything in between.

It’s also narrated by a familiar voice. 2FM’s Eoghan McDermott is in the voiceover booth and we’re buzzing to see what he’s like in the role that Iain Stirling made his own.

Will it take over our lives in the way that the original has? We’re looking forward to finding out.
