One of our all-time Disney FAVES, we're so excited to see Will take on this role in one of the most anticipated movies of 2019.
Aladdin also stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. The movie too has a well-known director, as Guy Ritchie is taking on the role of bringing this story to life.
This movie is a remake of the 1992 classic which saw Robin Williams in the role of the genie in the animated film, grossing $504 million worldwide at the time.
It has been one year since Will broke the news on this movie, introducing us the cast via a selfie on Facebook.
"We just started shooting Aladdin and I wanted to intro you guys to our new family… Mena Massoud/Aladdin, Naomi Scott/Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari/Jafar, and I’m over here gettin my Genie on. Here we go!" He wrote.
Roll on May.
