"X Factor? It's more like Fix Factor."

X Factor has come under a lot of fire recently with accusations swirling that the talent contest is fixed.

First, incoherent footage of an audition sparked suspicion, then the authenticity of a contestant caused further outcry.

Shianne
Shianne claims her audition was heavily edited.

Now, an auditionee has spoken out, claiming that her audition was “staged” and “highly edited”.

Shianne Phillips, who appeared on Saturday’s show, told FLIC what went on behind the scenes of her performance of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing.

She revealed: “It’s staged. They posted around 30% of my performance, and it was edited to look entirely different from how it really was.

“I sang two songs and received four standing ovations. I was forced to sing the Whitney song and was told if I sang the song, I would get through. I had actually chosen four other songs instead.”

Cheryl gave Shianne a yes vote.

Shianne went on to explain that she performed Leona Lewis’ Homeless and received a standing ovation but that it was never aired.

She said: “I received two standing ovations when I sang Homeless, and the audience was booing Simon and Rita.

“The entire arena of 5,000 people were chanting, ‘Shianne, Shianne, Shianne’ for ages, along with, ‘Say yes, say yes’.

“Cheryl was going crazy, cheering and clapping over her head. She was saying, ‘Yes, yes, this is it’.
