The singer has decided not to continue on the show.
Tom took to Twitter to announce the news, writing: "Due to personal reasons I have decided to withdraw from the X Factor.
"Thank you to all the judges, especially Nick for his belief in me."
"I want to wish all the contestants the best of luck and thank you to the public for supporting me and my dream.”

The 19-year-old appeared on last night's episode, in which he was replaced during the six chair challenge but later called back to take a seat.
During the broadcast, the Leeds lad tweeted: "You are literally watching on TV the worst experience of my life."

A source told The Mirror that Tom was suffering from insecurities on the show.
The insider said: "He didn't think he could progress vocally and in terms of his confidence."
