This year’s Strictly Come Dancing stars looked STUNNING at the launch event

We cannot wait for the new season.

With little over a week to go until the new season returns, we're absolutely BUZZING to see this year's Strictly lineup take to the dance floor. The lineup for this year's show was announced just last week and tonight the stars took their first step out in sequins as the Strictly Come Dancing Launch Show got viewers excited for what's to come. Tess Daly reunited with her hosting partner Claudia Winkleman for the event before the contestant took to the stage outside of BBC’s Broadcasting House in London and they looked INCREDIBLE. Here's a reminder of who's taking part and a sneaky glimpse at what's to come. Susannah Constantine TV presenter and fashion journalist who plans to prove that "pigs can fly (dance)". Faye Tozer A member of Steps... so she's already a dancing icon in our eyes.

Katie Piper Author, mum and all-around queen - Katie is also on our list of potential winners. This lady is breaking the mould for 2018's Strictly!  The double World Champion Paratriathlete was born without her lower right arm, but she's ready to dance! Vick Hope This glamorous radio DJ is one of the people we're backing to win the competition.

Kate Silverton Ashley Roberts Some people aren't happy about this Pussycat Doll being on the show, because she obviously has serious moves. Stacey Dooley This amazing lady is one of the most talented documentary presenters around at the moment.   Dr Ranj Singh A regular on This Morning, this doctor is ready to boogie. Graeme Swann A cricket star who wants to learn some new moves. Joe Sugg This YouTube star has caused a bit of controversy, as some people don't think he's famous.

Danny John-Jules Known for playing Cat in sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf... but can he dance? Charles Venn This former Eastenders star is excited about the challenge that lies ahead. Lee Ryan This boy-bander can already dance... but can he waltz?

Sean Walsh This chap is a comedian, so regardless of his dancing, he'll be a fantastic source of entertainment.   And the judges weren’t looking too bad either as Craig Revel-Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli looked excited to get another season underway. The show will return to our screens on September 8 and not a day too soon.
