Be careful who you search for.

Be careful who you search for.

We’ve all done a quick Google on a celebrity when they’ve released a new single, or started a new relationship, or said something controversial.

Yes, sometimes our minds need refreshing and a quick online search can be the only way to do that.

However, some celeb searches can be more dangerous than others.

Cybersecurity giant McAfee carried out research into the area and found out what celebrity was most likely to land followers on websites that carry viruses.

Any guesses?

Well, McAfee found it was Avril Lavigne that was the most dangerous.

Searches for Lavigne resulted in a 14 percent chance of being brought to a website that could potentially be a virus.

That number only increased when they searched her full name and used the term ‘free MP3s’.

Not far behind Avril was Bruno Mars who was the second most likely celeb search to land us in trouble.

Following Avril and Bruno were Carly Rae Jepsen, Zayn Malik, and Celine Dion.
