You’s Penn Badgley has a message for those who only like him since he started murdering people

Penn Badgley seems like a solid lad. Like, we don't know him personally or anything but he just does. He's played some decent roles over the years, he's got a pleasant demeanour, he's mad into a bit of humanitarian action online. Sound lad. Another thing that has solidified Penn as a Top Bloke™ is his unwillingness to allow fans of Netflix's YOU to fancy his character.  Which makes sense considering Joe is literally a stalker, murderer, creep, and all round Not Good Guy so, you know, you really shouldn't be hoisting him up as the ideal man and romanticising his overtly questionable actions.  He's just not having it - and that is quite a relief. In fact, Penn is so not into that whole scenario that he decided to allude to it while thanking everybody for getting him to one million followers on Instagram. Bless.
