Zac Efron reveals his eerie transformation into serial killer Ted Bundy for new role

Since the first sneak peek in January, Zac Efron’s new movie has been generating a lot of noise.

And now, at the beginning of 2019, the highly anticipated flick which sees Zac Eforn channel the notorious serial killer, Ted Bundy, will have its world premiere at Sundance Festival.

The movie, titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile follows the true story of Ted Bundy – a law student who was convicted and executed for raping and killing a known 36 women between 1974 to 1978 in the United States.

In the movie, the story of Ted Bundy will be told through his girlfriend’s eyes, Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lilly Collins), who found it hard to believe her boyfriend was guilty of anything.

Sharing the first up-close shot, the 31-year-old wrote:

“Ready for Sundance!”

Zac Efron has taken on the role of  the notorious, Ted Bundy.

Lily Collins too shared another never-before-seen shot, one which features Ted, Elizabeth and a child around a table celebrating a birthday.

Lily Collins stars in the film as Zac’s love interest.

We don’t have a spefic release date for the flick here in Ireland just yet but we do know that it’s fully completed and once it debuts next month at Sundance, more details will follow.

We cannot wait.
