Zayn Malik’s representative has wholeheartedly shot down rumours that the former One Direction star is being considered for a role on X Factor.
This week it was reported that head honcho Simon Cowell wanted Zayn on this year’s show in order to boost ratings.
A source told The Daily Star: “Simon has told Zayn he’d make a great judge and it’s him rather than Louis he really wants.
They added: “The last thing Simon wants is another shock, so he’s keeping Zayn very close now and knows about all his projects.”
However Zayn’s spokesperson has told the Mail Online that the claims are a “complete fabrication” and “complete nonsense.”
Zayn isn’t the only member of the boy band to be linked to a role on the panel. Louis Tomlinson is also believed to be in the frame.
