Your lunchtime just got a whole lot easier.
Aldi has just released one of the handiest lunch items. It’s called ‘The Bag that’s a Bowl’, and it’s exactly that. It’s a three step salad lunch option.
The bag that holds the salad can be turned into a bowl and from there you can make your lunch.
Step one is making the salad bag into a bowl, step two is adding a protein topping and step three is adding the salad dressing.
There are five types of salad leaves including spinach, rocket, baby kale, duo leaf and Italian leaf. For the protein, you have six options to choose from; cajun chicken, roast chicken, shredded turkey, shredded ham, snack size falafel Mediterranean and Moroccan style.
For the dressing they provide, raspberry, avocado, mango, lime & ginger, Asian style.
All three items together, the salad bag/bowl, the protein and the dressing, only cost €2.23, which makes it one of the best value lunches out there.
You can of course just purchase the salad bag for 65c and make your own salad bowl combination.
