The land of Victoria’s Secret, M&Ms, and now… buttered popcorn flavoured Oreos.
Oh, we are serious.
The snazzy new biscuit creations are set to hit American grocery stores very soon.
An Insta-foodie, The Junk Food Aisle, shared their thoughts on the new flavour, saying:
“Weird but true: I got to try one of these last month without being told what flavour it was, and I would have put all my money on it being ‘Pineapple’ after just licking the crème.”
“Eating it in its natural sandwich cookie state though and it becomes everyone’s least favourite Jelly Belly (but better!).”
Not sure if they really sold it, but we’re certainly intrigued.
However, it seems as though the Internet is more appalled than intrigued.
One Twitter user responded to the buttered popcorn flavoured Oreos, saying:
“Dear Oreo,
One question and that is why
Why popcorn flavoured cookie
Like the frosting is gonna be butter popcorn flavoured no offence but why just why.”
2019 is going to be interesting in the food department…
