If your name is Eimear or Eamon you can get free food in Dublin this week

Stop asking questions and start moving.

Eimear and Eamon, your time is now.

If The Back Page pub in Phibsborough, Dublin sounds familiar to you, then here are a few reasons why.

It was voted the best pub in Ireland to watch Euro 2016 and its It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Halloween party has gone down an absolute treat the last two years (the pictures from it are something else). It’s being replaced this year by a Game of Thrones-themed party which you just know is going to be as good if not better than previous Halloween parties in the place.

As well as this, every year The Back Page hosts a fundraiser called Bring The Toys where they collect toys and donations for sick children that are in need of medical attention at the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street.

This week, the pub is spreading some more good news. It’s giving away free breakfast, lunch and brunch to anyone who has the name Eamon or Eimear.

The post reads…

“Is your name Eimear or Eamon? If so, you’re in luck this week. Anyone whose first name is Eimear or Eamon – and who has the photo ID to prove it – can get a free breakfast/brunch/lunch on us.

“Cafe open from 10am to 3:30pm every day, get tagging.”

If you spell Emer this way, it’s worth chancing your arm but we cannot guarantee that you’ll get any free grub but anything is worth a shot especially when it’s going for nothing.

Much like an underage person trying to get into an overage disco, we imagine a lot of people will be doctoring the information on their ID this week.
