Mark the calendars! Here’s when Krispy Kreme will be opening their first store in Dublin

Keeley Ryan

In case you haven’t heard, Krispy Kreme is coming to Dublin.

The delicious doughnut chain announced last year that it will be launching its first Irish location in 2018.

And while the location was later narrowed down to Blanchardstown, it looks like we now have an opening date.

The Hot Light factory store, located near the shopping centre, will be opening in October 2018.

And the set-up means that customers will be able to see the doughnuts being made fresh in-store. Talk about yum.

We’re just hoping that Krispy Kreme will bring the Nutella-filled one to Ireland (pretty please!).

There will be more than a dozen varieties of Krispy Kreme doughnuts available, to enjoy either in store or on the go.

The store will also sell Kreme Shakes, tea, coffee and other kinds of refreshments.

The location will be open 7 days a week (and has a drive-through option) to make getting your hands on a box of doughnuts that much easier.

Alex Drysdale, Ireland Country Director, Krispy Kreme, said:

“It is with great excitement that we today announce that the OG of donuts, Krispy Kreme Original Glazed, is coming to Ireland this October along with many other delicious flavours for Irish customers to enjoy.

“Our Blanchardstown build is under way and we will soon be announcing recruitment details for our Irish operation.

“We look forward to welcoming all our Irish fans, and those yet to have their first Krispy Kreme experience, through our doors and our drive-thru this October.”
