Prosecco flavoured cheese is a thing and we’re feeling many emotions

And it's PINK.

Everybody loves Prosecco.

Everybody loves cheese.

By default then, everybody should love Prosecco flavoured cheese because it’s a combination of our two favourite things.

Oh, and it’s pink.

If you’re feeling mildly disgusted right now by the thought of a stunning dairy product having a potentially fizzy after-taste, just take a second and hear us out because this could actually be delicious.

There’s nothing better than a bit of cheese when you’ve had a drink or seven.

Prosecco flavoured cheese cuts through all the effort of actually having to acquire cheese elsewhere because the cheese is already there.

So handy.

And, seeing as what makes the product pink is a raspberry flavour, really what you’re eating is just a lovely fruit-flavoured cheese with extra bubbles.

You’d be the life of the party at pre-drinks.

The Wensleydale Prosecco cheese is being sold by the Great British Cheese Company and according to them, the cheese is pretty tasty.

“Paring Prosecco and Raspberry with Wensleydale produces similar savoury, sweet and acidic flavour combinations,” they say.

“This cheese is a treat for anybody with a sweet tooth” – sounds good to us.

But Prosecco cheese isn’t the only non-conventional cheese the company are selling.

They’ve also got a Peri Peri cheddar, a cheese flavoured with sticky toffee, and one that’s made with ale.

Stunning.

The Prosecco cheese is retailing at only £4.50 too, which isn’t bad really when you consider how much you’re getting.

Unfortunately for us though, it is currently only available for order in the UK so we’ll have to wait a bit longer if we want to get our cheese on.
