The Shamrock Shake has officially returned to McDonald’s Ireland – and we’re absolutely delighted.

The minty milkshake has become a staple in the lead up to St. Patrick’s Day, and McDonald’s fans will be able to enjoy it for even longer this year.

The Shamrock Shake from McDonald’s Ireland launched yesterday to kick start the St Patrick’s Day celebrations early. Fans can expect a deliciously creamy vanilla soft serve blended with mint Shamrock Shake syrup.

The sweet treat will be available for a limited time only – March 24, FYI – and will be available in stores while stocks last or via McDelivery.

The news comes after it was recently revealed the golden arches would be launching Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots in Ireland next month.

On February 12 2020, McDonald’s customers in Ireland will be able to buy Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots for the first time EVER.

A limited run of the pots will go on sale and is expected to quickly sell-out with restaurant staff prepped for bulk orders and big queues.

The 50ml pots will be available 24 hours a day and will have a seven day shelf life.

However, you better be quick if you want to nab some for yourself: when they’re gone, they’re gone – and at just 50 cents a pot, we reckon these are going to fly.

McDonald’s also recently released their first vegan meal, the Veggie Dippers.

The new Veggie Dippers, made with red pepper, rice, sundried tomato pesto and split peas surrounded by light and crispy breadcrumbs, have been accredited by The Vegan Society.
