Thousands of people apparently hate the same colour Skittle and our eyes have been opened

Who would have guessed?

Who would have guessed?

I’ve never thought about the different Skittles when I throw them back my throat like the pig I am but, that stops now.

It appears as though one Skittle, in particular, strikes a nerve with those who love the popular sweet.

Interesting.

When conducting a survey to celebrate 30 years of their iconic tagline “Taste the Rainbow”, Skittles asked 2,000 people to dish their thoughts on the candy and well, it appears as though people hate the yellow sweet.

According to the survey, a mere 6 percent of people favour the yellow sweet compared to 61 percent who are all for the red.

Again, interesting.

After red, orange was the next firm favourite followed by green, purple and then, poor yellow.

What’s even more bizarre is that a shocking 20 percent of people eat Skittles one at a time?

Now, that’s a skill surely?

The study also revealed some odd facts based upon how you enjoy the sweets. Apparently, if you eat Skittles one by one you’re most likely “to leave a party without saying goodbye”. While people who enjoy red Skittles the most are deemed as being “hopeless romantics”.

Hmm…

You can check out all of Skittles’ data here and take the survey for yourself.
