Louise McSharry has urged anyone who “doesn’t feel right” to be sure to seek help.
The 2FM DJ is a cancer survivor, having beaten Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
To mark World Cancer Day today, Louise took to Twitter to encourage her followers to trust their instincts if they feel unwell.
“It’s almost exactly four years since since I finished my treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma,” she wrote.
“If you don’t feel right, go to the doctor. If you’re not happy with their response, go to another one. Listen to your body and trust your instincts.”

Louise revealed in 2014 that she had been diagnosed with the disease, a cancer of the lymphatic system.
Her GP originally believed her symptoms were related to an infection after having her appendix removed.
She underwent chemotherapy and managed to defeat the illness.
Louise, 35, also posted contrasting photos of herself from four years ago and today.
The older picture showed her lying in a hospital bed while in the newer one she’s at home with her two-year-old son Sam.
