This app could prevent you from becoming a fragile, hungover mess

We've all been there.

There have been many nights out where we regret drinking that one last cocktail, or didn't drink enough water to stop a headache the next day. And even if you had a ball on your night out, the next day is absolute terror, and it feels like you'll never recover from your damn hangover. The rules for many are to stay hydrated and line your stomach, however sometimes, we forget about all of that as the night goes on. That's where this app comes in. Hydrate Now can prevent your hangover by sounding an alarm to remind you to drink a glass of water. It was created by Jacob Catalano, a 23-year-old from Toronto, Canada, and he said that he wanted to design something specifically for a hangover. "I know there are a lot of hydration apps out there, but I wanted to design one that was specifically designed for the hangover prevention use case. "So I figured the best way to do that would be by sending an almost annoying amount of provocative push notifications that remind you to drink water." All you have to do is download the app, and when you're going out, tap on the homescreen when your night begins. You're then able to input the amount of water you want to drink, and then... leave it! Whenever it's time to gulp down some H2O, it'll give you a little ping.
