Yep, apparently if you need to burn fat, walking is the best way to do it. Challenge accepted.
Pasternak says that the more intense the cardio, the more calories you'll burn
However, a higher percentage of calories will come from non-fat sources than if you were engaging in a less intense workout, like walking.
So basically, you'll burn calories absolutely, but not much fat.
Then there's the post workout eating.
"You hear people after a spin class, they get out of there, and they're ravenous. And they go have a gluten-free scone and a fresh-pressed, sugar-laden juice."
You know what? I'll take it.
Also, a little bit of fresh air never hurt anyone.
