We all have a pair of period pants crumpled up at the back of our underwear drawer.
They only see the light of day one week out of every month and for good reason, well period pants have been given a new lease of life thanks to THINX, a company set up by twin sisters Miki and Radha in New York.
They're high quality and comfortable period pants that seem a bit magic to us, you can find out how the technology works here, but essentially they're anti-microbial, moisture-wicking, absorbent, and leak-resistant, so you can wear them with NO pad or tampon!
And no, you don't feel like you're wearing a nappy, and no, you're not sitting around in your own blood (it's magic).
They can hold 2 tampons worth of absorbency and even the thong can hold a half tampons worth, and they're not half bad looking either!
They do ship to Ireland and one pair of pants is around the €35 mark, pricey but if they hold up... worth it!

The ladies behind THINX have also just launched the FIRST 100% organic tampon, so they're changing the world, you should go follow them on Instagram, it's pretty impressive.
Finally we 100% DO NOT recommend this, but a doctor made a slightly odd claim a few weeks ago about a female hygiene product to seal your vagina. We're pretty sure it's a bonkers idea, but you can read about it here. Nope, period via GIPHY
