According to experts in consumer and environmental health agencies, you only need to change your bath towels after every three or four washes.
There are some conditions though to make sure your towel doesn’t breed bacteria or mould.
Experts suggest keeping your towels spread out on a rack between washes (not bunched up), so they can dry throughout.
Also turn on any bathroom fans or open windows before and during your shower to keep the air from becoming too moist and encouraging damp or mould in the fibres.Explore more on these topics:
